Read to improve your vocabulary

Today we're going to read.  Why?  Because it improves your vocabulary!

1.  Get your vocabulary notebook.

2.  Go to this website:  http://www.newsinlevels.com/level-1/easyenglishnews/

     Choose a story.  Listen and read.  Don't use your dictionary.

3.  Listen again.  This time, guess what the new words mean.  If you can't guess, use your dictionary.

4.  Write the new words in your notebook.

5.  Prepare to tell Brendon about the story.
